Job summary

An experienced Architectural Technologist is sought for our Birmingham office to translate preliminary designs into buildable solutions and coordinate information across disciplines, acting as a point of contact for the site delivery team.

You will lead design teams, coordinate with clients and contractors, review sub-contractor information and support the contractor during build, with UK vetting requirements possible.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Architecture/Building Construction or BSc in Architectural Technology.
• Eligible member of MCIAT or recognized approved equivalent.
• Understanding of Building Regulations and relevant technical design guidance.
• Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design support to project teams and deliver projects meeting client requirements.
• Undertake team leadership, working flexibly and independently as needed while managing time.
• Capable of supervising technical project teams, coordinating with Client and Contractor.
• Organise and coordinate Design Teams and sub-contractors.
• Perform day-to-day delivery tasks, produce design deliverables, address technical queries, perform site inspections and monitor delivery.
