Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Technician at our Kilbirnie Street Van Centre. You will service and repair commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards, including warranty work, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of automotive experience, hold a full UK driving licence, and work well both in a team and independently. We offer a clear path to EV accreditation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Two years’ automotive experience in a busy workshop or dealership.
• Full UK driving licence.
• High levels of accuracy and precise attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy.
• High levels of organisation and time management.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking the repair and servicing of commercial vehicles.
• Analysing work orders and clarifying requirements with a Service Advisor.
• Documenting completed work orders and managing warranty material.
• Ensuring work complies with safety standards.
• Collaborating with other departments to service vehicles.
• Ensuring correct parts are available for jobs.
