Job summary

Arnold Clark Group is seeking a skilled mechanic to join the Glasgow team. You will service, repair and maintain a wide range of vehicles, using diagnostic equipment to identify faults and ensure road readiness.

You will work both independently and within a busy team, communicating clearly and following procedures to the highest standards. Overtime, training for EV accreditation, and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
• Ability to work independently or in a busy team.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test drives.
• Keep documentation and DVSA testing (where authorised) up to date.
• Maintain tools and equipment and follow checklists.
