Arnold Clark is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician in Glasgow to service, repair and maintain vehicles to high standards. You will diagnose issues with computer-based equipment and repair or replace defective parts while maintaining tools and documentation.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a busy team.
• Strong communication skills.

• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to high standards.
• Diagnosing issues using computer-based diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts.
• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).
• Road testing vehicles to check repairs.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring tools are in good condition.
• Following checklists to complete procedures.
• Completing all documentation to required standard.
