Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking an LCV Technician for a full-time permanent role in Highbridge. The position involves a standard workshop environment with a 37.5-hour week from Monday to Friday and every other Saturday, paid overtime, and a solid team that values skill and reliability.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, have DVSA-standard repair capability, and possess a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) – essential
• Proven experience as an LCV/Light Vehicle Technician
• Ability to identify worn/faulty components per DVSA standards
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full, current UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor repairs to light commercial vehicles
• Regular inspection and preventive maintenance services
• Diagnose faults and repairs per DVSA standards
• Maintain workshop inventory and cleanliness
• Collaborate with repair teams to plan repairs
• Complete job cards and service records accurately

LCV Technician - Highbridge

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 15:30 (37.5 hours per week after 30-minute unpaid break) Every other Saturday - 5 hours paid at 1.5x overtime rate Full time, permanent

Earning Potential - Salary: £19.23 per hour Annual basic salary: £37,498.50 (based 37.5 hours per week) Overtime paid at 1.5x (£28.85 per hour) Realistic OTE including every other Saturday overtime: £40,000 - £41,500

Overview We’re looking for an LCV Technician to join an award-winning commercial vehicle specialist in Highbridge. This is a proper workshop role with standard hours, every other Saturday paid at overtime, and a great team environment. Key Responsibilities
