Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) in Oldbury is looking for an experienced LCV Technician / Van Technician to service, maintain and repair a modern fleet of vans and light commercial vehicles in a busy workshop.

Working hours are 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts, and a £1,500 joining bonus paid after probation. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carry out health checks and keep accurate workshop records.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence.

The LCV Technician Role

• Service, maintain and repair a modern fleet of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out vehicle inspections, health checks and preventative maintenance
• Complete job cards and workshop records accurately
• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent experience)
• Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Van Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving licence
• £1,500 Joining Bonus (paid after probation)
