Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Swindon is seeking an experienced Service Manager / Workshop Manager with a hands-on technician background to lead our busy Light Commercial Vehicle workshop. You will oversee daily operations, drive quality and safety, and ensure smooth service delivery.

Based at our Swindon site, this permanent role offers Monday to Friday hours (08:00–17:00) with optional weekend work for extra earnings, a pension scheme and free on-site parking, plus clear progression into leadership positions

Qualifications

• Proven technician experience on the tools in automotive repairs.
• Experience leading a workshop team and managing daily operations.
• Strong planning, organization and quality-control skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the workshop team to maintain high productivity and quality.
• Manage daily workflow, allocations, and KPI tracking for efficiency.
• Liaise with service advisors, parts, and management to ensure smooth customer journeys.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health and quality procedures.
