Totally Local Company is seeking a dedicated cleaner for Laurus Cheadle Hulme Primary School in Stockport. The role is on-site, part-time, offering 10 hours per week from 06:00 to 08:00, Monday to Friday, with a fixed hourly rate of £13.28.

Responsibilities

• You'll use cleaning equipment, machinery and materials safely and effectively to perform duties.
• You'll check and report any faults with equipment or building to the on-site supervisor.
• You'll maintain good relationships with clients and relay significant issues to management.
• You'll participate in staff training and follow Health and Safety policies.
• You'll perform any additional duties related to the cleaning role as required.

What you will be doing in this role

• You'll use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out your duties.
• You'll check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building itself, to the on site supervisor or Area Manager describing fully the nature of the faults.
• You'll maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with any minor queries or complaints, and to relay any significant customer issues to the on site supervisor or Area Manager for further action.
• You'll participate in staff training programmes and to carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority’s Health and Safety Policy.
• You'll perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post, as and when required.
