Job summary

Totally Local Company is seeking a Cleaning Site Supervisor for Laurus Didsbury High School, Stockport. This on-site role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 15:00–18:00, with a focus on delivering high cleaning standards and representing TLC in the community.

Qualifications

• No experience required; suitable for candidates seeking an introductory role.

Responsibilities

• You'll use equipment, machinery and cleaning materials effectively, efficiently and in accordance with safe working practices to carry out your duties.
• You'll check and report any faults with equipment, machinery or the building itself, to the on site supervisor or Area Manager describing fully the nature of the faults.
• You'll maintain good working relationships with clients and deal with any minor queries or complaints, and to relay any significant customer issues to the Area Manager for further action.
• You'll participate in staff training programmes and to carry out all duties in a responsible manner with due regard to the Authority’s Health and Safety Policy.
• You'll perform any additional duties related to the work of the section appropriate to the post, as and when required.
• You will be focused on driving improvements in operational performance and productivity with a definite focus on customers in and around Stockport.
• You will report directly to your Line Manager.
• You will bring a fresh approach to effect real change, especially delivering a commercial business acumen right for our future.
