Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment is seeking a Laser Setter Operator for a Dudley, DY2 location. The role offers Monday-Friday hours with a weekly rotating shift pattern and a hourly rate of £14.00–£14.50 for 40 hours per week.

You will be responsible for setting and operating laser cutting machinery, loading materials, and ensuring components are produced accurately and on time. This is a physical manufacturing environment with emphasis on quality control and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery.
• Ability to load/unload sheet metal and materials.
• Ensure components meet quality and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate laser cutting machinery.
• Load and unload sheet metal and materials.
• Remove finished components from laser machines.
• Sort and prepare parts for customers.
• Check finished components for quality and accuracy.
• Move materials and finished parts around the production area.
• Work to production requirements and deadlines.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace.
