Job summary

Simply Jobsworth is seeking a Laser Setter Operator with a Forklift Truck Licence in Halesowen for a permanent, 40-hour-per-week role. The position offers morning and afternoon shifts with weekly pay and long-term stability within a busy manufacturing environment.

You will set and operate laser machines, load materials, unload parts, and use a forklift when required, all while meeting production and quality standards and maintaining rigorous health and safety practices.

Laser Setter Operator with Forklift Truck Licence

Location: Halesowen

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Pay: £14.00 per hour (AM Shift) | £14.50 per hour (PM Shift)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter Operator with a Forklift Truck Licence to join a busy manufacturing business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Setting and operating laser machines
• Loading materials onto laser machines
• Unloading cut parts from machines
• Sorting parts ready for customer orders
• Operating a forklift truck where required
• Working to production and quality standards
• General housekeeping duties
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience setting and operating laser machines is essential
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence preferred
• Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting when required
• Good attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Rotating Shift Pattern

Morning Shift

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am to 2:30pm

Afternoon Shift

• Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm to 11:30pm
• Friday: 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Pay Rates

• £14.00 per hour on Morning Shift
• £14.50 per hour on Afternoon Shift
• Weekly Pay
