Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton. You will work on a night shift from 21:00 to 07:30, Monday to Thursday, with immediate start on a temp-to-perm basis.

The role requires operating laser cutting machinery, loading materials, performing safety checks, and maintaining quality standards. A strong focus on detail and the ability to work independently at night are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery
• Experience within metal sheet fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine machine maintenance

Responsibilities

• Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment
• Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials from the machines
• Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality checks on finished components
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards
• Performing basic maintenance and routine checks on the machinery
• Reporting any faults or issues with the equipment
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all health & safety and production procedures

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton.

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:00pm - 7:30am

Pay: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

Type: Temp to Perm

The RoleWorking Monday to Thursday on a 9:00pm - 7:30am night shift, you will be responsible for:

• Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment
