Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting an experienced Laser Operator to join a busy metal sheet fabrication environment in Nuneaton. Night shift: 9:00pm–7:30am. Pay £15.00–£16.00 per hour. Temp to Perm.

You'll operate laser cutting machinery, load and unload sheet metal, set up and run the equipment, perform quality checks and basic maintenance, and ensure all safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating laser cutting machinery.
• Experience within metal sheet fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to carry out routine machine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operating laser cutting machinery within a metal sheet fabrication environment.
• Loading and unloading sheet metal and materials from the machines.
• Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out quality checks on finished components.
• Ensuring products meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Performing basic maintenance and routine checks on the machinery.
• Reporting any faults or issues with the equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following all health & safety and production procedures.
