Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Large CNC Turner to work on large, high-precision components across oil and gas, aerospace and defence. You'll program, set and operate Mazak or Fanuc controlled lathes, ensuring tight tolerances and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience with large components in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating Mazak and/or Fanuc controls.
• Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC lathes, reading and editing programs.
• Operate large CNC turning machines to produce components to specified tolerances.
• Interpret technical drawings with a strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow set-up sheets and job card instructions precisely on every job.
• Uphold quality and safety standards at all times.
• Mentor and coach less experienced machinists in large turning operations.

Large CNC Turner | Lymington | DOE

You'll be trusted with large, high precision components across oil and gas, aerospace and defence work.
This is a role where your setting and programming skills are relied on daily, not just ticked off a checklist.
