Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd in London is seeking a Landscape Planner to contribute to LVIA and landscape planning projects across the UK. The role offers hybrid working, a diverse project portfolio, and opportunities to develop technical skills in planning and design.

You will prepare landscape and visual assessments, undertake site surveys, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while managing client relationships and supporting junior colleagues in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience with LVIA or landscape planning projects.
• Knowledge of UK planning and development processes.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
• Organised approach to managing workloads and deadlines.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Preparing landscape and visual assessments.
• Undertaking site surveys and landscape appraisals.
• Supporting renewable energy, residential and infrastructure projects.
• Producing technical reports for planning applications.
• Identifying landscape constraints and mitigation measures.
• Providing landscape planning and design advice.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Managing projects and client relationships.
• Mentoring and supporting junior colleagues.
