LEAD Careers is seeking a Landscape Architect/Landscape Planner to join a Cheshire-based multidisciplinary practice with a focus on LVIA and renewable energy projects. You will contribute to LVIA work, landscape assessments, and planning reports, collaborating with planners and environmental specialists from feasibility to planning submission.

The role involves site surveys, mitigation advice, report writing, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Architecture required.
• Interest or experience in LVIA and landscape planning.
• Understanding LVIA methodology and UK planning process.
• Strong written communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK driving licence required due to site-based work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and contribute to LVIA reports and landscape appraisals.
• Conduct site surveys and landscape assessments.
• Assess landscape and visual effects and identify mitigation.
• Provide landscape and visual advice throughout planning and development.
• Collaborate with planning and environmental professionals.
• Liaise with clients and project teams.
• Manage projects and ensure quality of reports at senior levels.
• Mentor junior team members.
