Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Landscape Planner with 4+ years' experience to join a large multidisciplinary consultancy. The role offers a competitive £35-£45k DOE salary and the chance to work on diverse projects across education, healthcare, leisure, transport and renewable energy.

You will deliver LVIA and landscape design, manage design during construction, and use Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

• A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects.
• Experience of managing landscape design during the construction phase.
• Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
• A full & clean driving licence and full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projects.
• Strategic and feasibility/concept studies.
• Landscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based project.
• Townscape and visual assessment (TVIA).
• Preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawings.
• Hard & soft construction detailing, schedules & specification to support planning applications.
• Tender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspections.
• Support the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectors.
• Supporting the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects..
• Managing and delegation of project work to junior members of the team
• Client liaison
