Job summary

Lead Careers Ltd is working with an established Birmingham landscape consultancy to recruit a Chartered Landscape Planner. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to take ownership of projects.

You will prepare LVIA/LVA reports, conduct site visits, and contribute to EIAs while liaising with clients and authorities. A strong track record in landscape planning and report writing is essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI) with landscape planning experience.
• Strong LVIA/LVA report experience.
• Understanding of landscape character assessment and UK planning system.
• Experience on development projects.
• Confident report writing and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare LVIA and LVA reports.
• Undertake site visits, landscape assessments and visual surveys.
• Prepare planning reports and documentation for planning applications.
• Contribute to EIAs.
• Produce landscape strategies and mitigation recommendations.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and other consultants.
• Manage your workload and deliver projects successfully.
• Support junior colleagues and their development.
