LEAD Careers is representing a well-established Landscape Architecture studio recruiting a Landscape Architect with LVIA/LVA experience. You will work on landscape planning and design across the UK, contributing to a diverse portfolio and collaborating with clients and consultants.

The role offers involvement in LVIA, visual assessments, planning support, and reporting, with flexible working arrangements and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • A Landscape Architecture degree.
  • Some LVIA/LVA experience.
  • Understanding of landscape and visual assessment.
  • Understanding of the UK planning system.
  • Good report-writing skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Confident to carry out site work and contribute to projects independently.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to LVIA/LVA and Townscape and visual assessments.
  • Assist with Landscape character assessments.
  • Conduct site surveys and fieldwork.
  • Assist with viewpoint selection and assessment.
  • Provide landscape input into EIA projects and mitigation strategies.
  • Support planning applications and report writing.
  • Collaborate with clients and wider consultant teams.

Role - Landscape Architect

Location - Essex

LEAD Careers are working with a well-established Landscape Architecture studio that is looking to add another Landscape Architect with LVIA experience to its team.

This is a great opportunity for a Landscape Architect who enjoys the landscape planning side of the profession. The practice has been around for more than 40 years and works across both landscape planning and design, with a varied portfolio of projects throughout the UK.

The Role

The successful Landscape Architect will be joining an experienced team and getting involved in a good mix of landscape planning work, including:

  • LVIA and LVA
  • Townscape and visual assessments
  • Landscape character assessment
  • Site surveys and fieldwork
  • Viewpoint selection and assessment
  • Landscape input into EIA projects
  • Landscape and visual mitigation strategies
  • Planning application support
  • Report writing
  • Working alongside clients and wider consultant teams
About you
  • A Landscape Architecture degree
  • Some previous LVIA/LVA experience
  • A good understanding of landscape and visual assessment
  • An understanding of the UK planning system
  • Good report-writing skills
  • Experience with relevant software such as AutoCAD, GIS and Adobe Creative Suite
  • The confidence to carry out site work and contribute to projects independently
  • A full UK driving licence
