Job summary

Certain Advantage is seeking a Landing Gear Systems Engineer to join a contract role based in Filton. You will be part of a small, experienced team responsible for defining technical requirements, conducting analyses, and delivering documentation to support milestones.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and experience in systems engineering with knowledge of aircraft systems. This role offers a site-based, contract arrangement with an hourly rate and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Systems Engineering experience (preferred).
• Knowledge/understanding of aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements, perform technical analyses, and write plans.
• Critique and validate task planning and regularly update progress reporting for Engineering Leaders.
• Execute V&V strategies, test definition and technical analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Prepare technical documentation to support project milestones, design reviews, etc.
