Summary

£62,000 - £90,000 per annum | 35 days’ holiday (pro rata) | 10% in-store discount | Company Car

This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle, from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition, to leading a professional team through planning, construction, and ongoing asset management. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is essential.

You will own the entire development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multitasking, and meeting tight deadlines.

Note: You will be expected to work at our Gravesend (Northfleet) Property Office or in your designated area at least 3 days a week.

Internally, this role is called Senior Acquisitions Consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire deals for new stores.
• Conduct site inspections, develop appraisals, and manage due diligence.
• Manage planning application processes from submission to approval.
• Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain relationships with authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
• Oversee the full development process from concept to completion.
• Manage real estate assets.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Degree (2:2 minimum), ideally in a relevant field.
• Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, or town planning.
• MRICS qualification preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to handle multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
