Job summary

Great British Energy - Nuclear in the UK is seeking a Land Manager to coordinate survey access across the Wylfa development programme, reporting to the Head of Land, Property and Facilities Management.

You will work with external land agents, landowners, occupiers and project teams to secure safe, lawful access for environmental, archaeological, geotechnical and other surveys, while maintaining auditable records and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Rural Estate Management, Land Management, Real Estate, Property Management, Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in land management, surveying, property, utilities or infrastructure with transferable skills.
• Direct engagement with landowners, occupiers, farmers, tenants and agents on sensitive matters.
• Ability to plan and control a portfolio of access cases and maintain records to deadline.
• Clear and empathetic communication; ability to explain technical activities practically.
• Ability to read plans, ownership information, legal agreements and contractor docs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain land access schedules, plans and trackers with status and risks.
• Arrange site visits, meetings and access logistics including gates and routes.
• Act as day-to-day contact for landowners, occupiers and agents; respond to enquiries.
• Monitor compliance with access agreements and rights; support negotiations for licences and easements.
• Provide regular reporting on access progress, risks and mitigations.
• Support land referencing, title checks and review of plans and property records.
