Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in the UK is seeking a Senior Land Consultant to secure land access for major infrastructure projects across the UK and Ireland, working with a team of land professionals.

You will lead land referencing, engage with landowners and stakeholders, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance while mentoring junior staff and contributing to business development.

This role offers opportunities to develop expertise across multi-disciplinary teams and travel within the UK and beyond.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Geography, Land/Estate Management, Agriculture or related discipline.
• Experience delivering land referencing, land access, and landowner engagement services and statutory processes.

Responsibilities

• Secure land and land access for infrastructure projects.
• Lead audits and QA of land referencing documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning and environmental teams.
• Provide senior-level advice on land acquisition risks.
• Manage junior Land team members and CPD training.
• Contribute to commercial strategy and risk management for land contracts.
• Ensure compliance with statutory processes and safety requirements.
• Build relationships with landowners and stakeholders.
