Job summary
National Grid seeks a Technical Land Manager (External Stakeholder and Industry Engagement) to lead engagement with government departments, professional bodies, industry forums and major land stakeholders across the UK. You will drive policy thinking and ensure a strong external voice for National Grid on land and infrastructure delivery.
The role involves horizon scanning of legislation, regulation and policy, developing an external engagement strategy, and representing National Grid in
Qualifications
- Significant experience in external stakeholder engagement and industry representation.
- Strong understanding of land rights, acquisition, planning and major infrastructure delivery.
- Ability to influence policy and prepare consultation responses.
Responsibilities
- Build influential external relationships with government departments, professional bodies and landowner organisations.
- Represent National Grid at industry forums, conferences, consultations and stakeholder events.
- Shape policy positions and responses to government consultations and industry reviews.
- Advise senior Land leaders on emerging policy and stakeholder risks and opportunities.
