Job summary

WSP UK seeks an experienced professional to lead land referencing and land access work on major infrastructure projects across the UK. You will identify landowners, engage with stakeholders and ensure compliant delivery of statutory processes within multidisciplinary teams.

Role requires managing junior team members, leading audits, and advising clients on risks and opportunities while advancing the CPD-accredited Land Academy program.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Geography, Land/Estate Management, Agriculture or a relevant discipline.
• Experience delivering land referencing, land access, landowner engagement and statutory processes on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams across Ireland and/or UK.
• Proven ability to advise clients on land-related risks and opportunities throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of land referencing, land access, landowner & stakeholder engagement, and statutory processes.
• Identify landowners, occupiers and other parties with land interests through registry research.
• Liaise with landowners, land agents, legal representatives, planning authorities, stakeholders, contractors and clients.
• Lead audits and quality assurance reviews of land referencing documentation and processes.
• Provide senior-level advice to clients and project boards on land acquisition risks and opportunities.
• Oversee compliance with statutory processes and ensure regulatory obligations, including data security and privacy, are met.
