National Grid in the UK is seeking a Technical Land Manager (External Stakeholder and Industry Engagement) to shape land policy for the country’s clean energy future. You’ll lead engagement with government departments, professional bodies and industry groups, building influential relationships and guiding policy as a credible voice for land and infrastructure delivery.

You will work across Strategic Infrastructure, Electricity Transmission and Existing Infrastructure, providing strategic insight

Qualifications

• Significant experience in external stakeholder engagement, industry representation, land strategy or external affairs within land, property, infrastructure or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of land rights acquisition, compulsory purchase, planning and major infrastructure delivery.
• Experience building influential relationships with government departments, regulators and industry bodies.

Responsabilités

• Build influential external relationships with government departments, public bodies, professional institutions and landowners.
• Shape policy positions and responses to government consultations and industry reviews.
• Provide strategic insight on emerging policy, risks and opportunities for National Grid.
• Strengthen external engagement through industry forums, conferences and working groups.
