Job summary

Curtiss-Wright is seeking a LabVIEW Electronics Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset team. You will introduce new products to production, support current lines and ensure services are available to production at all times.

You will develop manufacturing processes, build guides, jigs and test boxes, layout manufacturing cells, and investigate and resolve manufacturing and quality issues. Strong LabVIEW, electronics, and manufacturing knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or HNC with 5+ years in electronics/manufacturing.
• Experience in low/medium/high volume electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Proficient in LabVIEW and electrical test design.
• Proficient with ERP systems and CAD software (SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Assist introduction of new products to production.
• Develop manufacturing processes and build guides.
• Design and produce assembly jigs, fixtures and test boxes.
• Layout manufacturing cells with tooling and services.
• Support current production and solve manufacturing problems.
• Investigate quality issues and prevent reoccurrence with lean methods.
• Take ownership of departmental projects and ensure production readiness.
