Laboratory Technician - Cambridge, Great Abington (Onsite)

As a Laboratory Technician here at Illumina in Cambridge, you will be part of our dynamic team, contributing to various specialist roles within the lab. You will demonstrate expertise in specific areas and apply your knowledge to support our innovative projects. This role involves close collaboration with other lab users and departments, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Why You
You will have relevant experience in a laboratory setting, with a detail-oriented and conscientious approach to your work. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Your team-oriented mindset and exceptional communication skills will enable you to handle sensitive conversations and build trust with colleagues and leaders. A BSc/MSc is strongly preferred, but equivalent experience or molecular biology laboratory experience without a degree is also valuable.
