Job summary

London Stock Exchange is seeking a Lead Technical Engineer with deep Kubernetes and CNCF experience to design, implement and scale cloud platforms in a large enterprise. You will mentor delivery teams, set technical direction and align infrastructure initiatives with business goals.

You will lead clusters, drive best practices, and partner with product owners to deliver secure, resilient cloud services across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficient in infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Strong agile delivery and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Drive best practices and SDLC improvements.
• Act as Kubernetes technical authority across teams.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a backlog for the Kubernetes team.
