Job summary

London Stock Exchange seeks a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineering Lead to own the design, delivery, and operations of enterprise cloud platforms, focusing on AWS, EKS, automation, and cloud-native engineering. You will guide high-performing teams and influence platform strategy across engineering, architecture, and business partners.

The role requires hands-on leadership with deep cloud expertise, security governance, and experience in cloud migration programmes.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in AWS services (EKS, IAM, networking, observability, security).
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container platform experience.
• Experience leading cloud transformation and migration programmes.
• Certifications in Kubernetes or DevOps are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, delivery, and operations of enterprise cloud platforms.
• Lead high-performing engineering teams and shape platform strategy.
• Drive cloud migration end-to-end including assessment and transition planning.
• Champion automation-first engineering using IaC and GitLab-based CI/CD.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and governance across workloads.
