Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) seeks a Lead Technical Engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise to design, implement and scale our Kubernetes infrastructure and cloud platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and influence our technical strategy across cloud services and security.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, cloud-native delivery, and collaboration with product owners to enable scalable, secure platforms that power critical applications globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• CKA/CKAD/CKS certifications preferred.
• Experience leading cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, promoting best practices.
• Drive cloud budget management and optimization across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps and system admins to align infrastructure with business goals.
• Maintain high security, reliability and compliance of cloud platforms.
