Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer specializing in Kubernetes to shape the architecture and standards for CI capabilities. The role focuses on defining architectural decisions, multi-team adoption, and cost-efficient, developer-friendly container strategies within an on-premises Kubernetes environment.

You will collaborate with engineering leadership to steer the CI pipelines, tooling, and governance for the next phase of our security-focused projects, including

Qualifications

• Experience designing Kubernetes platforms at an architectural level.
• Knowledge of container supply chain security and CI/CD integration.
• Strong leadership in multi-team platform governance and engineering design.
• Hands-on with on-prem Kubernetes clusters and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end architecture for CI workloads running on Kubernetes.
• Workload isolation, networking, and artifact flow design.
• Autoscaling strategy and resource management approach.
• Image build, scanning, promotion architecture for container supply chain.
• Observability: logging, metrics and platform visibility.
• Migration strategy: phased adoption and risk management.
