Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a Leicester college. The role supports students with learning difficulties to access the curriculum and develop independence, with KS5/T-Level focus and strong classroom support.

The position is temporary with a view to permanent for the right candidate, offering market leading rates and CPD opportunities via the My-Progression Channel.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent relevant subject.
• DBS check and update service.
• Experience supporting college tutors in practical courses.
• Experience with personal care and learning support work.
• Strong knowledge of a T-Level course.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning difficulties to access the curriculum.
• Assist tutors to provide the best possible learning experience.
• Contribute to improving student pass rates and progression.
