TeacherActive is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a temporary contract at a Leicester college in the East Midlands. The role supports KS5/T-Level students, requires Level 3 or equivalent, and a DBS with update service.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent relevant subject required.
• DBS check with update service.
• Experience supporting college tutors across practical courses.

Responsibilities

• Support students with learning difficulties and disabilities to access the curriculum and achieve their programme of study.
• Assist tutors to provide effective learning experiences and maintain good communication.
• Help students progress towards their pass rate for employment or higher education.
