Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a mainstream secondary school in Aberdare to recruit a Learning Support Assistant for an immediate start.

You will support students across KS3 and KS4 in-class, help with learning needs, and work closely with teachers to create an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A genuine passion for supporting young people’s success.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Assist teachers in delivering learning activities and managing classroom behaviour.
• Support individual learning needs and encourage student engagement.
