Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking Learning Support Assistants for Secondary settings starting in September 2026, with roles across full and part time hours. You will provide 1:1 or small group support to learners with additional needs, within a supportive college environment.

The roles offer training, progression opportunities and competitive daily rates (£109–£115 with PAYE). DBS checks are required and experience in a school setting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Hold or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
• A passion for working with young people.
• A proactive, positive person that can offer flexibility in a busy College environment is essential to these roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a school setting (advantageous but not a necessity).

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers wherever necessary when conducting lessons, including helping to set up at the start of the day.
• Helping to ensure that the classroom is safe at all times and facilitates student development.
• Providing academic and behavioural support to students to aid their progress.
• Providing valuable feedback to teachers about student progress.

Join a leading education provider to work as a Teaching Assistant in Secondary schools.

Salary: £109 - £115 per day

Teaching Assistant - £109 - £115 per day (Salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2026 (or sooner)

Vision for Education's supporting our client College for continued support within their Learning Support Department. We require several Teaching Assistants for a mixture of Full and Part time roles in September 2026. Historically roles at our college do become permanent, however fixed Term placements are also available. The learning support department offer training and support to their Teaching Assistants and offer opportunities for career progression.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll be tasked with providing 1:1 or Small group support to learners with additional needs. The College offer a wide variety of courses to their pupils, so these roles require a flexible and hands on attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teachers wherever necessary when conducting lessons, including helping to set up at the start of the day.
