Job summary

Flourish Education seeks a Primary Teacher to join a Year 4 class at a one-form-entry primary school in Tamworth. The role is full-time and long-term, running from October 2026 to March 2027, with responsibilities including planning, assessing and marking in line with school policies and delivering engaging lessons.

ECTs are encouraged to apply alongside experienced teachers. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 4:30pm, with support from a Teaching Assistant and access to ongoing CPD

Qualifications

• QTS required and up-to-date.
• Ability to lead a classroom and manage behaviour.
• Experience working with a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and mark pupil work in line with school policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistant to support pupil progress.
