Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Primary Teacher to cover a Year 5 KS2 class at a one-form-entry primary school in Stafford. The role is full-time and long-term, starting in October 2026 and running through December 2026, with potential extension. Hours are 8:15am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

You will plan, assess and mark work, deliver engaging lessons, and work alongside a Teaching Assistant. ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Confident leading a classroom.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Able to work effectively with a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess and mark pupils' work in line with school policies.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistant to support pupil learning.
