Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking KS2 Teaching Assistants to join welcoming primary schools and support pupils across Years 3–6. Roles include full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible placements.

You will assist with classroom activities, small group and 1:1 support, and help develop reading, writing and maths skills while encouraging confidence and independence in pupils. All applicants should be dedicated, patient, and reliable, with a passion for helping children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Previous school experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in childcare, youth work, tutoring or similar roles is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning and activities.
• Conduct small group and 1:1 work with pupils.
• Assist reading, writing and maths activities.
• Help build confidence and independence in pupils.
