Job summary

A KS2 Teaching Assistant is sought to work within our Junior Department, supporting pupils across all areas of school life. You will work under the instruction of teaching and senior staff to help pupils progress and learn, and to assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom.

Tasks may occur in the classroom or outside the main teaching area and across the school, providing care, assistance and programme support to pupils as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting KS2 pupils in a primary setting.
• Ability to follow guidance from teaching staff.
• Willing to work across classroom and outdoor areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom.
• Support pupils in all areas of school life.
• Work under instruction to deliver care/support programmes.
