Job summary

WMJobs is seeking a passionate Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support learners in our vibrant school. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, provide individualised support, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

The role offers 27.5 hours per week on a temporary contract until 31 August 2027, with opportunities for professional development and career growth.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare.
• Experience working with children, ideally in education.
• Genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering lessons for diverse pupils.
• Support pupils with learning activities and tasks.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive environment.
• Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to monitor pupil progress.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom where every pupil is valued.
