Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Thornton Cleveleys, Lancashire, is seeking a caring Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS2, delivering targeted interventions and assisting with SEMH/SEND needs. Qualifications

• Deliver targeted intervention sessions in literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas across Key Stage 2.
• Support pupils with SEMH, SEND and additional learning needs to access the curriculum successfully.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils to promote confidence and engagement.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to support emotional regulation and positive learning behaviours.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet the individual needs of pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals where appropriate.
