Job summary

St Stephen & All Martyrs’ CofE Primary School is seeking a KS2 Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our committed staff. This 12-month fixed-term post offers 25 hours per week, term time plus 5 days, starting 2 November 2026.

The successful candidate will support pupils’ learning and work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality teaching. We welcome a motivated, enthusiastic team player who is confident with phonics across EYFS and KS1, and who shares our Christian values and commitment to

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in TA or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
• Experience of working within a classroom
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Ability to support pupils' learning across the primary age range
• Work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning
• Provide targeted support for individuals and groups of pupils
• Confident with phonics across EYFS and KS1
• Hard-working, committed and a dedicated team player
• High expectations of children’s behaviour and achievements
• Help develop an exciting and imaginative learning environment
