Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant in Ashington, Northumberland, for a full-time role starting in the new academic year. You will support the KS2 team with both whole-class and targeted 1:1 care to help pupils thrive academically and personally.

The role requires KS2 experience, a Level 2 teaching qualification or higher, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. You will differentiate learning to support pupils with SEND and contribute to a positive learning

The School and Role

A Primary School in Ashington are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Key Stage 2 team on a full-time basis.The successful applicant will support the class teacher in delivering a high-quality, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive. The role will involve a combination of whole-class support and targeted 1:1 assistance, helping to meet the individual needs of pupils and promote their academic and personal development. This is a long-term role, commecing in the new academic year.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience of working within KS2.
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.
• Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
• Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
