Vision for Education is seeking a KS1 Teaching Assistant to work full-time on a temporary basis in South Shields (NE34). The role supports Year 1 and Year 2, including Phonics interventions and general classroom support, starting November 2026 and running to July 2027.

The School and Role

On behalf of this Primary School in South Shields (NE34), Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic KS1 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from November. The KS1 Teaching Assistant who is successful in gaining this position will be supporting across Year 1 and Year 2 as required, helping with Phonics interventions and general classroom support. The role will begin in November 2026 and run long-term. This bright primary school creates a welcoming atmosphere, and strives to give each child meaningful learning opportunities.
