Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in the Cramlington area on a full-time, temporary basis. The role focuses on supporting pupils with SEND in KS1 and KS2, tailoring learning activities to help every child reach high standards.

The post starts ASAP and runs from October 2026 through July 2027, with progression possibilities based on performance and school needs. Excellent PAYE rates and a guaranteed pay scheme are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience across KS1–KS2 in a school setting.
• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

SEND Teaching Assistant (Full-time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School situated in Cramlington are looking to employ a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and offer support in the school’s SEND provision with children in KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting pupils with additional needs and be confident in tailoring learning to ensure all children can achieve to a high standard. This role is set to commence ASAP and continuing on a long-term basis if all goes well.

• Experience of supporting children with SEND.
• An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
