We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive primary team starting from May 2025. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with class teachers, supporting children across Key Stage 2 to achieve their best in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Support teaching and learning across the KS2 curriculum, including English, maths, and topic work.
2. Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and display.
3. Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and provide targeted intervention.
4. Support the behaviour and emotional wellbeing of pupils in line with school policy.
5. Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress.
6. Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
7. Support enrichment activities, trips, and wider school events as needed.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a KS2 setting.
• Relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable.
• Confidence in supporting learning in core subjects.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
