Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant with Sports Background

Are you passionate about physical activity and helping children succeed? We are working with schools across PLYMOUTH seeking full-time Teaching Assistants with a background in Sports. Experience with PE, Forest School, and children with additional needs is desirable. Candidates with a UK driving license and own car are preferred.

Hours: 8.30 am to 3.30 pm – 5 days per week

Responsibilities:

1. Guide students as a Teaching Assistant, offering personalized support.
2. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop support plans.
3. Support outdoor education, Forest School, and PE activities.
4. Foster a nurturing environment to promote social interactions and communication skills.
5. Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and behavior interventions.

• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are prioritized.
