Job summary

Smile Education are recruiting an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a year 6 class in a 1 form entry primary school. Start after the October half term until the end of the academic year.

The school is located in a small village, easily commutable and has modern facilities with a very supportive staff team. The role requires an up-to-date DBS, TA qualification (level 2/3) and SEN experience. Daily rate £100-£115 with PAYE/Umbrella options and 12.07% holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date DBS on the update service or dated within the last 12 months.
• Teaching assistant qualification or Health & Social Care (level 2/3).
• Experience working with SEN children on a 1:1 basis or small groups work.
• Experience working with Primary school children.
• At least 2 professional references covering the last 2 years of work history.

• Constant and consistent communication with the class teacher, regarding progress and potential methods of work.
