Job summary

KS2 Teacher position at Tupton Primary & Nursery Academy, part-time 0.4 FTE on Thursdays and Fridays, permanent, located in Chesterfield. Expiry: 2 Oct 2026. January 2027 start preferred.

You will teach Key Stage 2 and require strong English and maths teaching skills, with a focus on engaging pupils and building positive relationships with families. About you…

You must have the ability to engage, inspire and motivate both pupils and colleagues and have the strategic vision to be part of the team moving our vibrant school forward.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in Key Stage 2, and will be able to demonstrate excellent classroom skills, including a sound understanding of how children learn. They will also be able to forge excellent relationships with colleagues, parents and most importantly, our children. They must be team players who are exceptional teachers of English and mathematics, as well as having the knowledge and skills to inspire children’s learning in all wider areas of the curriculum.
